We are so grateful for the generosity of our supporters, who helped us raise almost $300 to provide school uniforms, food, and essential supplies to those in need. Special thanks to Zerofuse, Emily Wu ($20), Evelyn Brand ($20), Ainslie Ryan ($20), and Kendall Hurren ($50) for funding this project.
With these funds, we were able to provide uniforms and food to children in need, and food packages to others in vulnerable situations. This was all made possible by a previous recipient, Nicki, who made sure your money helped those in need in her community. She budgeted for and bought food, packaged it, and distributed it locally.
This project reminds us that even small contributions can create huge differences in people’s lives. The joy the faces of these recipients never gets old.
Every single donation and gift matter. Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us at Little Big Gift make a lasting impact.

At Little Big Gift, we believe that sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest difference. This week, we launched a project that embodies everything we stand for: direct, meaningful help that transforms lives—no waste, no ego, just genuine impact.
Meet Maria. She’s a single mum raising three bright, curious kids in a remote community. Life hasn’t been easy. With rising food prices, limited access to medicine, and the growing pressure of school costs, she’s been stretched beyond her limits. But despite it all, she’s never stopped dreaming of a better future for her children—a future built on education, dignity, and hope.
Here’s the heartbreaking truth: without basic school supplies, her kids aren’t allowed to attend class. No notebooks, no uniforms, no pens—no school. No school, no future. It’s that simple. And while it shouldn’t be this way, for families like Maria’s, it is.
So we stepped in.
Thanks to a wave of support from the Little Big Gift community, we’re putting food on their table, filling prescriptions for much-needed medicine, and assembling a complete school starter kit for each child. Every item is chosen with care and love. Every dollar is tracked. And every gift is a direct line to real impact—no overheads, no delays.
Maria didn’t ask for much—just a chance to give her kids the life they deserve. And you gave her that chance.
This isn’t just about supplies. It’s about self-worth. It’s about showing a mum that she’s not alone. It’s about telling three young dreamers that they do belong in that classroom.
Want to see the difference your gift makes? We’ll show you. Every step of the way. Because that’s what Little Big Gift is all about. Real people, real help, real change.

One of the most successful things we do at Little Big Gift is help set up small businesses that generate recurring income for families and communities.
Not every business succeeds long-term. We know that starting from scratch is hard, but the wins we see make it all worthwhile. Every time a small shop, food stand, or farm project takes off, it creates reliable income and independence for people who are often without the opportunities we receive in countries like Australia. Not to mention that businesses that don’t last as long as we’d hoped can still provide valuable experience, skills, and short-term income that help families through tough times.
We also work closely with struggling mothers to help them secure better jobs and build stable careers, allowing them to support their children. Sometimes that means funding additional training, sometimes it’s helping them start a small business, and sometimes it’s simply opening the door to a new opportunity.
We’ll keep setting up these small businesses and supporting mums on their job journeys because we’ve seen first-hand how transformative they can be. With your support, we can create more opportunities for people to build a better future for themselves and their communities. Find more information regarding how to help on our Donate page.
In many villages across the Philippines, children rarely get to celebrate important milestones in their education. There are no graduation ceremonies, parties, or special moments to mark their hard work.
While it’s a little outside the usual scope of Little Big Gift, we love putting together end-of-year celebrations whenever we can. These gatherings give kids a chance to feel proud of how far they’ve come. These can include anything from food to games and small gifts, and we make sure students have what they need for the next stage of their education, like school supplies and uniforms.
These celebrations might seem small, but they create a sense of hope and encouragement that carries students forward. Seeing their community cheering them on makes a huge difference. It’s pretty incredible seeing the joy on their faces. With your help, we can keep supporting these kids through every stage of their education. One of the things we love doing at Little Big Gift is purchasing instruments for children and communities who might not otherwise get the chance to play. Music brings so much joy and opportunity, and in a country full of musically inclined people, we want to help unlock that potential.
Two years ago, we bought a few simple instruments for an orphanage (below) in Angeles, Pampanga. They were inexpensive, but the kids still play them all the time and absolutely love them. Seeing their passion reminded us how powerful even small gifts can be.
Since then, we’ve purchased instruments for several other groups. Each time, it’s a chance to encourage creativity, gift kids a productive outlet, and remind them that they’re capable of amazing things.
We’d love to continue supplying and upgrading the instruments we’ve already given and are yet to give. If you’d like to help us make that happen, please visit our Donate page to learn more.
